摘要:
Fabric data (chieflys-surfaces and lineations) have been collected in twelve areas along a 200 km long NE—SW line in the northern Caledonides of Scandinavia. The bedrock consists of overthrust laminated rocks tending to be sub-horizontal S-tectonites. In 241 instances, lineations striking about NW—WNW have been deformed by small folds of other strikes. This is part of the evidence for postulating different phases of deformation. The main lineation maximum for the areas strikes WNW. Lineations with this strike are strongly correlated with local β-maxima with the same strike. However, the main β maximum for the areas strikes NW. Movement directions are discussed,i.a.on the evidence of 720 instances of small overturned folds. Boudinage shows a preferred orientation that is not obviously correlated with either the strongest lineation maximum or the strongest maximum for β. Joints are as a rule not obviously correlated with other fabric elements and appear to have been formed after folding had ceased almost entirely.
