摘要:

Periodate oxidation of 1,1-dimethyl-1,3,4,9-tetrahydropyrano[3,4-b]indole1gave 5,6-dihydro-3,3-dimethyl-4,1-benzoxazonine-2,7(1H,3H) dione2, a member of the novel 4,1-benzoxazonine ring system. Its conversion into 1,3-dihydro-3,3-dimethylfuro[3,4-b]quinolines is described.
