摘要:

Despite active research on multiple fronts, the etiology of autism is still unclear. Molecular genetic studies, including research into neurochemical receptors and genetic linkages, hold promise for the future. Active research interest continues in the disciplines of neuroelectrophysiology, histology, neuroanatomy, and neuroradiology. Ongoing clinical research continues regarding neurophysiologic factors and the definition of a broader autism phenotype.
