Abstract2‐Bromoethyloxirane (2b), 3‐bromopropyloxirane (2c), and 4‐bromobutyloxirane (2d), were prepared by epoxidation of the corresponding bromoalkenes. Treatment of the oxiranes with a triethylaluminium/acetylacetone/water mixture afforded the polyethers3b–din good yield as tacky, white elastomers.
