Neural network models of cognitive processes provide us with an entirely new conception of perceptual recognition, theoretical knowledge, teaming and conceptual change. This brain-based perspective on cognition bears directly on some long-standing issues in the philosophy of science. In particular, it appears to vindicate five of the more central themes of Paul Feyerabend's philosophy of science.
