摘要:

This article explains some aspects of quantum theory defined on multiply connected manifolds in the context of the path integral formulation and the applications that these ideas find in anyon physics in one and two dimensions. Examples that involve non‐trivial topological aspects, a formal definition of a multiply connected manifold, and path integrals on arbitrary manifolds are all discussed.
