ABSTRACTA résumé is given of the geology, general ceramic properties, and uses of the shales and alluvial clays of Georgia, based on a study by the Georgia Geological Survey. The conclusions were derived from seven months of field work and from ceramic tests on 115 samples from private properties and active plants
