This paper presents a different approach to manufacturing polyurethane products and finishes than most processors are presently using, the advantages and disadvantages of this approach, and its future potential. We are referring to using materials currently called urethane oligomers. An increasing number of varieties have become commercially available, particularly since 1976, but how to use them effectively is not widely known.
