摘要:

Thermal stresses along the bonded interfaces in a multilayer beam, caused by the different thermal expansion coefficients of the layers, are investigated. The present theory treats each layer as a higher-order beam-type plate with appropriate interface and surface conditions. As an example, numerical results are shown for the two-layer beam problem and compared to finite-element results and numerical results from other approximate theories.
