Absorption Spectra of Pr3+and Nd3+Doped in Lanthanum Sulfate

摘要:

The crystal‐field parameters of lanthanum sulfate are calculated by studying the absorption spectrum of Pr3+‐ and Nd3+‐doped lanthanum sulfate. These values are compared with the previously obtained parameters for lanthanum ethyl sulfate. It is shown thatA20⟨r2⟩ is quite large in the sulfate in comparison with the ethyl sulfate.
