It has been put into evidence by electron microscopy with the technique of Hanker, Seaman, Weissand others (1964) the presence of glycogen in the cells ofNostoc communeVaucher and it has been observed its disappearence with a pretreatment of the cells with diastase solutions at different concentration and for different lenghts of time.
