AbstractTip malposition of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs) is a frequently encountered problem. Invasive and noninvasive techniques for resolution of malpositions described in the listerature are reviewed. A positive outcome using noninvasive techniques after a looped malposition in the axillary vein is discussed.
