This is a report on various possible student experiments with the Mössbauer effect beyond the basic resonance experiments. The information in this report was collected on visits to various research and teaching laboratories in which Mössbauer experimentation is carried on. The visits were arranged and sponsored by the AAPT-AIP Center for Educational Apparatus in Physics, which is supported by the National Science Foundation. F. E.
