AbstractMeasurements of the total viscosity and total conductivity were made as a function of position and Reynolds number for the flow of air between two parallel plates with a separation of approximately 0.7 in. The temperature of the upper plate was 130.0°F. and that of the lower plate 70.0°F. The investigations were carried out at Reynolds numbers from 40,000 to 100,000 and were in good agreement with earlier data obtained at Reynolds numbers up to 40,000.
