Complexes of cobalt(II), nickel(II) and copper(II) with the Schiff base formed by condensation of p-chloroaniline and 2-furfuraldehyde have been synthesized and their physico-chemical properties were investigated with the help of microanalytical data, UV-visible and IR spectroscopy, conductance and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The complexes are of the general formula ML2(H2O)2SO4.nH2O. These complexes have also been screened for their antimicrobial activities.
