摘要:

One subject in introductory physics which has in the past necessarily been taught using comparatively few examples taken from the natural world is special relativity. If currently prominent theories concerning the physics of quasars are correct, these astronomical objects offer an exciting and illustrative demonstration of naturally occurring large‐scale relativistic motion.
