LetRbe a noncommutative prime ring with symmetric ring of quotientsQ,with extended centroidCand with derivationD, letnbe a positive integer.Givenx,yϵR, we setSuppose thatD≠ad(a) for anyaϵQsuch that(a + c)2= 0 for somecϵC, and either char(R≥n+1 ≥ 3, or char(R) = 0.We show that the subring ofRgenerated by, contains a nonzero ideal ofR.
