AbstractA survey was conducted to determine the extent of the usage of Information Technology in Cyprus. It was found that the level of awareness of its users was low, and generally restricted to routine business administration junctions especially accounting. In order to bridge the gap between current and potential usage, awareness must be increased, skills and expertise enhanced, telecommunications infrastructure expanded and regional markets explored.
