In this paper we present an interactive optimization procedure for a mixed disc packing problem. The procedure is based on the bounds on the area left uncovered by the circular disks when packed on the circular plate (developed in Part I) and is implemented on a computer graphics terminal. The proposed procedure is applied to problems involving two and three types of discs and results are presented.
