摘要:

SUMMARYA method to exclude mites and other contaminants from test tube cultures is described. It consists in covering the mouths of the tubes with cigarette paper which is applied by pressing the flamed rim of the tube against solidified gelatin (20 per cent gelatin in a 2 per cent solution of CuSO4) and then against the cigarette paper. Excess paper is removed by burning.
