AbstractThe relationships ofD. calcareumBroth. andD. subbrachycarpum(C. Muell.) Par., toD. brachycarpumHampe, and of this species toD. difficile(Duby) Fleischer andD. rufo-aureum(Hampe) Willis are discussed. On the basis of comparable habit, leaf morphology, leaf cells and sectional anatomy, and similarities of the type descriptions,D. subbrachycarpum, with its synonym D. calcareum, are synonymized withD. brachycarpum.
