摘要:
SummaryFifty three children aged between 10 weeks and 12 8/12 years were treated for a haemolytic uraemic syndrome. A prodromal phase was present in 49 patients (gastroenteritis: 46, respiratory tract infection: 3) and a possible aetiological factor was discovered in 36 patients. Coxsackie Was the most frequently encountered pathogen. Treatment consisted of fresh frozen plasma infusion and antiplatelet drugs. Two patients also underwent plasmapheresis. One patient received imunosuppressive drugs. Twenty five patients underwent peritoneal dialysis. The outcome was good in all cases. One child still presents a mild Proteinuria 7 1/2 years after diagnosis while all the other patients had a complete normalisation of the parameters.
