摘要:

In combination with x-ray and other procedures, this relatively simple technique raises diagnostic accuracy in gastric cancer to near perfection, and its false-positive rate is close to zero. These advantages argue for a much wider use of exfoliative cytology of the G I tract than is currently being made. Paramedical personnel can readily be trained to perform the procedure and interpret the results.
