摘要:

Tables for variables acceptance sampling plans for use with small lots are presented. The sampling plans are derived using a decision theoretic approach for which the theory has been previously presented by the authors. Using this approach, which takes into account the lot size, the sample sizes necessary can be substantially smaller than those for more traditional variables sampling plans. The tables pertain to lots from a manufacturing process having a normal distribution and with lot sizes ranging from 10 to 100. Both the case of known process variance and the case of unknown process variance are covered.
