AbstractStyrene was copolymerized in bulk with cinnamonitrile, benzylidenemalononitrile, ethyl benzylidenecyanoacetate, and atroponitrile at 80°C. up to low conversions. The usual reaction scheme of copolymerization fitted only the pair styrene‐atroponitrile.
