Atomodesma trechmanni(Marwick) is referred toAphanaiade Koninck (1877) (=MaitaiaMarwick, 1935;IntomodesmaPopov, 1958).A. MarwickiWaterhouse is referred toKolymiaLicharew (1941).AphanaiaandKolymiaare considered to be subgenera ofAtomodesma.
