摘要:

Thermal decomposition of sulphates in the presence of vanadium pentoxide and metallic copper serves as a quick method of direct conversion of sulphates into sulphur dioxide. It is suitable for the mass spectromeiric measurements of δ34S in natural sulphates. The absolute error of the method is ±0.4‰.
