SummaryWe report on two patients with an oropharyngeal tumor, in whom a meningeal carcinomatosis has evolved, most probably by perineural spread. The perineural pathway explains the sometimes observed atypical neuralgias, occurring sometimes in these patients. The evolution toward a meningeal carcinomatosis has a poor prognosis.
