摘要:

Digital beam forming in the frequency domain is suggested based on phase shifting by complex multipliers of Fourier series sinusoids. An analogy is then shown between the formation of sequential beams in a line array and the fast Fourier transform, which allows a substantial reduction in the number of multiplications required to form the sweeping beam.
