摘要:

In this paper a derivation of the Faxe´n theorem for a circular cylinder moving unsteadily through a compressible fluid in arbitrary motion with arbitrary slip is presented. This theorem is a generalization of the Faxe´n formula for incompressible flow and the no‐slip condition, derived by Varley and Zhou [Physica A127, 363 (1984)].
