The Terminology Committee of the Scoliosis Research Society has compiled the present glossary which is intended to provide a uniform terminology for use in publications, presentations, and when teaching by members of the Society and other orthopaedists who do a substantial amount of work with scoliosis. All descriptions and names of casts and instrumentation systems have been eliminated.
