Home I.V. therapy programs offer hospitals an avenue into the out-of-hospital service market. Hospitals have existing facilities and experienced personnel to provide home I.V. therapy services to their patients who qualify. Presented is one 250-bed hospital's experience with the development and implementation of a home I.V. therapy program and the successful results achieved.
