The present review is devoted to applications of chemiluminescence for agrochemical analysis. The scope of chemiluminescent techniques to the determination of pesticides and fertilizers are presented, including methodology and practical considerations. Specific applications to organophosphorus, carbamates, nitrogen compounds, sulfur compounds, as well as the incorporation of chemiluminescent immunoassay are included for this purpose. The literature reviewed covers the papers of analytical interest that have appeared in approximately the last 5 years, but relevant earlier references are also included.
