摘要:

Model equations have been derived for the analysis of mechanical equilibria of plasma–beam systems. The plasma has a thermal pressure, and the charged particle beam has effective inertial pressure. Self‐consistent force‐balance conditions are formulated by a set of nonlinear elliptic partial differential equations. Examples of explicit solutions have been given by numerical analyses.
