摘要:

AbstractTo improve the information available to the public, it is important to bring environmental reports and statistics to life. Environmental indices can do this, just as indices of prices, unemployment and output do for the economy. Previous environmental indices for public information are reviewed and new environmental indices developed for France, Italy and the UK.
