A staining method earlier described in this periodical has now been developed into a spray technique. The walls of the limestone quarry' at Limhamn have been examined with this method. Details, before not visible for the eye, have emerged to supply additional information concerning the stratigraphy and perhaps even the formation of flint and SiO2-rich limestone.
