The one dimensional language is employed in the description of some of the data recently available from the NAL and ISR. To illustrate the phenomenological value of such a description, left‐right multiplicity data are discussed in some detail. In addition to the more orthodox, a few non‐standard suggestions are made for presenting data based on the one dimensional ideas.
