摘要:

Elucidation of the structure and conformation of a hitherto unknown novel derivative of chromanone, 8-(3′-Methyl - but - 2′ - en - 1′ - oyl) - 7 - hydroxy - 2,2,5 - trimethyl-2H-chromanone, obtained as a byproduct in the Friedel-Crafts acylation of active phenolic compounds by NMR methods is reported. A combination of the 1D-NOE difference spectroscopy and Molecular Mechanics calculation was used to assign the conformation of the title compound.
