摘要:

A straightforward analysis (relying solely on publicly available information) of the γ‐ray spectrum of a small piece of ‘‘trinitite,’’ the desert sand fused into glass by the world’s first nuclear explosion on July 16, 1945, allows a surprisingly accurate determination of the Trinity device’s explosive yield.
