The author takes part in theFårö Team Worksponsored by the Swedish Nature Conservancy Board. Architects, limnologist, botanical as well as zoological ecologists and geologist cooperate to find useful methods for Society's planning of the development of sparsely populated areas. The island of Fårö, north of the island of Gotland in the Baltic, is famous for its unique geological and botanical environment, and it has been chosen for the project.
