AbstractAnimal models allow for testing the potency of topical corticosteroids by measuring their effects on induced conditions that are analogous to human skin disease. Animal models can examine the anti‐inflammatory, anti‐allergic, antiproliferative, and atrophogenic effects of topical corticosteroids.
