This work describes the results of a study carried out in summer/autumn 1988 onBagous (Bagous) rufimanusHoffmann in Lago di Candia (northern Italy), where adults (males and females) larvae and pupae were observed on the floating leaved hydrophyteTrapa natansL.. The morphological characteristics of the pre‐imaginal stages are described and illustrated.
