This material was developed for the use of pre-university teachers and their students to understand the basic principles of the techniques required for ‘the design of band-pass amplifiers using op-amps.’ The ideas outlined here are particularly relevant to the design of amplifiers, and teachers will be able to develop them in context.Pupils should be taughtto analyse alternative solutions to produce better design proposals.
