摘要:
Peroneal nerve damage can result from ischemia, compression, or entrapment. The most frequent complaint patients have is that they cannot walk as well as they did prior to surgery. When peroneal nerve damage occurs, it can be either temporary, if detected early, or permanent. Proper positioning is the key to preventing peroneal nerve damage in hospitalized and institutionalized patients.
