摘要:
Gingival explants maintained in vitro display a pattern of glycogen storage similar to that of healing wounds. Demonstrable glycogen increases in amount during the first twelve hours after excision of the explant and this is followed by a rapid decline as epithelial migration and proliferation proceed. Since most of the accumolation occurs close to the lateral borders of the explants, a specific relationship with keratinization seems unlikely.
