摘要:

The temperature dependence of the piezo‐optic coefficient and the elasto‐optic coefficient has been measured for water, ethyl alcohol, methyl alcohol, carbon tetrachloride, benzene, toluene, acetone, hexane, and cyclohexane. Only for the unassociated liquids, benzene and carbon tetrachloride, are the measurements in agreement with simple theory.
