While a speedometer for windsurfing may seem an obvious device, a reiiable product is apparently not available. Michael Lord, a keen windsurfer, therefore decided to do it himself. Michael received an A grade pass for this project at A-level. It was also a winner in the senior category at the 1993 Young Electronic Designer Awards.
