摘要:
The biphasic nature of the response to allergen is now well established. In many allergic diseases, the so-called late-phase reaction provides a model much more closely akin to what is observed clinically than immediate reactions alone would afford. The crucial and persistent role of IgE in sustaining the late-phase response is underscored in this first of four articles on the phenomenon.
