This paper extends the application of shifted Legendre-series expansions to integrodifferential systems with quadratic performance index. Based on the shifted Legendre series, a directly computational formulation for evaluating the optimal control and trajectory is developed. The formulation is straightforward and convenient for digital computation. An example is given to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed method.
