摘要:
The Broken River Embayment is a major transverse structure in the Tasman Orogen in northern Queensland. Bell (1980) suggested that it is a hinge zone of an orocline, which he named the Big Bend Megafold. An alternative explanation, presented in this paper, involves a Silurian‐Devonian triple plate junction.
